The Analysis of the ore Potentiality and ore prospecting of the Miba Rock Mass in the South Qinling Belt

    • The MIBA rock mass near the northern side of the Mianlue ophiolitic mélange belt was formed after the collision of the Qin Mountains microplate with the Yangtze plate in the tectonic environment of the continental margin orogenic belt. The prospecting in this area has long been uncertain. Through 1:50,000 mineral prospective investigation, the ore-bearing property of Miba rock body has been recognized. The two-stage emplacement features of the Miba rock body are obvious. The later intrusive body is the ore-forming geological body and has the ore-forming condition of porphyry scheelite. The contact zone of rock mass has a wide range of alteration, which is a favorable place of searching hydrothermal filling and metasomatic w-cu-co deposit. This area has good prospecting potential.
