Survey and evaluation of geological environment in Qaidam Basin

In order to explore Qaidam basin,its present situation must firstly be got to know The main purpose of this paper is to survey,interview and practically investigate some environmental problems,such as lands deserted or salinized or eroded by winds or buried by sands,the level of ground water gone up or down,and some problems resulted from human being's engineering activities Moreover,water samples from relative places in this basin have been andlysed From different aspects geography,landforms,ecology,geological environment and human's activities,the author sums up the present situation of the basin,which provides information for exploring it.
