The discussion on geological features and mineralizition of the Huashugou altered rock-type copper deposit in Gansu, China

Huashugou copper deposits belong to a kind of altered rock type copper deposit with the regional stratabound property, ore body is controlled by the fracture zone within mine district. On the analysis of the geological future of deposit and source bed as well as metallogenic age,the authors think that the Huashugou altered rock-type copper deposit is formed in two stages,the first stage is the period of Cu pre-enrichment under Proterozoic rift. Anather is the period which the Cu in banded iron-formation is remobilizationed to the fracture zone and enrichmented to form copper deposit in Caledonian orogeny.
