Subdivision of Qilian metallogenic belt and its prospecting potentiality

    • The Qilian metallogenic belt is one of the most im portant Second-level metallogenic belts in China. By means of the research on the geological-tectonic settings, the ore rock formations, the minerogenetic epoch and the main ore-types of the Qilian metellogenic belt, and combined with the results of the geochemical exploration and panning anomalies, the Qilian Ⅱ-level metallogenic belt would been subdivided in to two Ⅲ-level belts and twenty one Ⅳ-level belts in this paper. The metal metallogenic cha racteristics and the d ist ribution regularity of the mineral deposits of each of the Ⅳ-level metallogenic belts have been discussed respectively. Based on the synthetical analysis, the Cu,Pb,Zn,Au and Wo redeposits a rethe main exploration targets in future, and the focal area of the next stageorefinding work have also been proposed.
