Measurement of platinum and palladium in minerals by spectrophotometric method with foamed plastics enrichment

After resolving platinum minerals by hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide solution,the decomposition efficiency can be improved by adding cosolvents.In the presence of tin protochloride,the contents of platinum and palladium are determined by colorimetry after enriching by foamed plastics,and the results are excellent.The method is simple and practicle and suitable for fast analysis outdoors.
