  • The paper about the age of Fenghuoshan group was a debated focus all along, based on the document, there are two different standpoints on it. The one regards that it belongs to Cretaceous period, and the other think that it belongs to Eogene period. According to Fenghuoshan group's geological characteristics, geologic horizon contact relation, geomorphological characteristics, metamorphic characteristics, the age of fossil and relative age of intrusive body in 1:250000 areal geological survey, we decide to put it in Late Cretaceous epoch.
