Features of Huachanggou gold deposit and its type in Lueyang County, Shaanxi

Huachanggou gold deposit locates in Guozhen Formation of Sanhekou Group of Devonian Mianxian-Lueyang suture zone.Mineral-bearing series is spilite and crystal limestone. The main ore-controlling structure is Zaiziwan brittle-ductile shear zone. Host-rock alteration is made up of retrograde and mineralized alteration. Huachanggou ore body can be divided into south and north ore belts. Ore type contains altered spilite and altered pyrite quartz-sericite, as well as quartz vein. The main ore minerals are pyrite chalcopy rite and nat ural-gold.The main miner alization includes brittle-ductile shear super imposed and strong deformation and wholly retrograde alteration and later period mineral-bearing hydrothermal exchanged and depositing,which belong to para-Carlin type gold deposits in the volcanic-sedimentary series.
