  • Extensive attention has been paid to reservoir flow units being used in the field of exploration and development of oil field, but the study is rest ricted in the static way—the macroscopic heterogeneity is studied by clustering method in virtue of only the static reservoir parameters, seldom the dynamic production data such as injection-production well pattern, perforating parameter, development status, adjustment measures.The authors analyzed the study status of flow unit, considered that the combine of exact flow unit division and quantitative remaining oil description is the best method of searching advantaged potential area.This research provides that the method is an important geological basis for the oil field development management and the improvement of oil and gas recovery.
