Study on substance composition and cause of formation of Jincheng gold deposit, northwestern Jiaodong Peninsula

    • This paper studies the major elements and trace elements of altered rocks and the Au content and composition of altered minerals of Jincheng gold deposit and first studied the Fe-carbonate and the amygdale in lamprophyre in this deposit. The conclusions show that the metallogenetic fluid is general rich in Fe, Si, K, Au, Ag, Bi, Co and Cu etc.,expect for their difference. Pyrite is the main Au-bearing minerals but quartz is poor in Au. Fe-carbonate is closely related to the precipitation of pyrite and chalcopy rite. The last remain fluid of lamprophyre magma is similar to metallogenetic fluid in composition and precipitating sequence, showing their genetic relationship.
