    Interrelationship of Shear Structure and Mineralizaion of Duolanasayi Gold Deposit in Xinjiang

    • Recent study has related the mineralizaion of Duolanasayi gold deposit (discovered in middle 1980's) to shear structures.However,how the shear structures control the gold mineralizaion is not clear.Based on the geological backg round,ore-deposit and structural geology,the paper analyzed the geological characteristics and metallogenic mechanism of the gold deposit and suggests that the deposit occurring in the limest one and metamorphic siliceous rocks in the third lithologic unit of Devonian Tuokesalei formation is controlled by the Duolanasayi shear zone characteristic of secondary shear deformation,mineralizaion and multiphased vein mineralization.These obviously show multiphase and complexity of the structural activities.
