  • There are three sets of Permian source rock in the southern part of the north China region: the Permian Taiyuan,Shanxi and Shihezi members.The source rocks are distributed in the Zhoukou depression,the Taikang rise and west Henan province.The source rocks of dark mudstone,coal and carboniferous mud stone are thicker in the east and thinner in the west in their thickness.The source rocks in the Taiyuan and Shanxi members probably represent the best in the study area since they contain abundan to rganic carbon.Most of the organic sub stances belong to type and the limestone are type.
