Ore-forming Conditions and Metallogeny of Gold Deposits in Shuangpengxi-Xiechangzhigou, Qinghai Province

    • The Shuangpengxi-Xiechangzhigou area is an important noble-nonferrous metalm ineralization zone in the eastern Qinghai province. Based on the proven gold deposits, there are three ore-forming types: skarn, a ltered cataclastic rock and quartz veins. Goldm ineralization is controlled by structure-magmatic events. Different gold deposit types exist in different rock association. The skarn-type and quartz veins gold deposits occur in the Permian strata, while the altered cataclastic breccias type gold depo sits are present in the Triassic strata.
