  • The northern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is characterized with complex tectonics and excellent mineralization conditions forming mineral zones.However, the geological study is still in a relatively low level.By carrying out a comprehensive regional geological studies since 1999, including 1:250000 and 1:50000 geological investigation, and 1:50000 and 1:200000 regional geochemical exploration in the region, the northern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau can be divided into 3 grade Ⅰ, 5 grade Ⅱ and 9 grade Ⅲ metallogenic belts according to the temporal and spatial distribution.This is significant for the future mineral exploitation and evolution in the region.
