The Study on Forming Environment and Mineralization of the Yeniutan Granite, Gansu Province

    • Since the largest Ta'ergou tungsten deposit in northwest China and Shidonggou argentum multi-metal deposit were discovered, the Yeniutan granite in Subei county Gan suprovince is even more famous. Using Maniar's discrim inance method, the tectonic setting and mineralization of the Yeniutan granite was studiedin petrology, mineralogy, pivoting geochemistry and gitology. The results indicate that the main lithology of the Yeniutan granite are granodio rite and adamellite, which are low in silicium, rich in aluminium, poor in alkali and rich in B,V,Zr,Ag,Pb,Zn,Cu,W,Be etc.The Yeniutan granite is formed in arc tectonic setting of Late Ordovician, and pertains to transitional granite giving first place to stem from earth's crust. It is the geologic record formed by Qilan shan organic zone before continent-continent collision. The mineralization of the Yeniutan granite is in tensive, which caused such deposit characteristics as polyphase,multi-mineral commodity and multiple genesis.
