Abstract
Weibao lead-zinc deposit is main achievement of an investigation in east part of Kunlun mountain in Xinjiang,which is a sub-project of land and resources comprehensive investigation projects,carried out in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau by China Geological Survey in 2002-2003.This deposit has been proved to be larger than a medium one on a scale by general survey in several years.The content of Cu,Pb,Zn,Ag can reach to 93.1×10-6,291.9×10-6,359.7×10-6,1673×10-6.Ore zone of this deposit is 150m wide,more than 3 000 min length and 400m in depth.On earth's surface,there occur 21 lenticular,bedded ore bodies,with lead glance,zinc blende and chaleopyrite as main metal minerals in them.Reserves of lead and zinc amount to 614.3 thousand tons; copper and sliver as the associated minerals amount to 17 thousand tons and 420 tons.
