  • Abuhai Exploration District is located in the northeast of Dongsheng Coalfield.In the study area,the mainly coal measures is Yan'an Formation of Lower-middle Jurassic,which include 5 coal-seam groups,9-22 seams and 15 seams on average.Lithology of coal-bearing strata changes frequently in space and this makes it great difficult in comparative study of coal seams.Through multiple methods of lithological combination,marker beds,interlayer spacing,correlation of logging curve and inversion profile of 2d earthqualce's survey,the authors compare and study the coal seams comprehensively.18 layers of coal are numbered,Among these coal seams there are 15 minable seams and 3 unworkable seams.In the minable seams,3 seams(4-1,4-2middle,and 6-2middle) are minable in all the region,9 seams(2-2upper,2-2middle,2-2lower,3-1、3-2、4-2upper,5-1,6-2upper,6-2lower) are the best minable seams,and 3 seams(2-1、3-2lower,6-1)are partially minable seams.The main minable seams are reliable in correlation,simple in texture,and stable in thickness.So,they can be identified as comparatively regular coal seams.
