    • Xiong'er area is located in the Southern Margin of North China Platform. This area is intensive in tectonic activity and frequent in magma activities. So it is one of the major gold production bases in China, flowing with resources of metal mineral. The Huanggou gold deposit is located to the west of Xiong'shan mountain, with the similar background conditions to the known deposits.Through the research on the regional geological background, the geological characteristics in Huanggou Gold deposit, and the ore-prospecting achievements in the preliminary work,we can confirm that the main ore-controlling structures are controlled the sliding broken zone formed by the detachment fault zone and the leaning sliding fracture zone,And the main type of gold in this area is the tectonic altered rock.According to the scale of ore-controlling structural belt and abnormal characteristic of soil geochemistry, the potential of ore-prospecting is good in Donghuanggou,Yangpogen and Xiaohuanggou.Besides, the exposed granite aplite in the period of Yanshan is closely related to the ore-forming.It is an important direction of prospecting for the mining area and even the whole Xiong'er area in future.
