Abstract
Zhongbazi Ti magnetite deposit is late magmatic differentiation mineral deposit, which is infrequent in Mian-Lue-Ning triangle area in Lueyang county, Shaanxi province. Its main ore-controlling factor is mid-late Proterozoic gabbro-diorite complex which intruded into the Bikou volcanic rocks group along the deep faults. Ti magnetite deposit is prolific in the dark rock lithofacies (the alkaline mafic) which is in the middle of the large scale and well differnetiated gabbro diorite complex, its occurrence is basically consistent with ore-bearing rock mass and there is better ilmenite resource potential. The authors systematically collate the geological characteristics of the deposit, analysing and summarizing the ore-controlling geological characteristics factors and indicate the next prospecting direction in this region, so as to service in the correlative exploration and research of iron deposit in the triangle areas.
