Gold Deposit Metallogenic Model in Kunlun Mountain-Two Lakes Area, Qinghai Province, China

  • Kunlun Mountain-two lakes area has superior metallogenic condition, and is the main gold production area. According to the study of geological setting, ore characters, mineralization epoch, metallogenicperiods, genetic types and ore controlling factors of typical deposit, we know thatthe gold mine of Kunlun Mountain-two lakes area was produced in Changmahe Fm. Early-Middle Triassic, and controlled by Gande-Madu fault zone. This paper assures Au, As and Sb are easy activation mineralization in the turbulent environment, and easy enriched in the junction of several faults. On this basis, we summary regional metallogenic regularity and established metallogenic model, and instructive significance for future prospecting.
