  • As we all know,impact factor of periodical is very important in statistics and analysis.CJCR,WD,CNKI is three famous statistical agencies of China,statistics and analysis of impact factor of Northwestern Geology make good use of the data of CJCR,WD,CNKI.To continuously improve the academic level of Northwestern Geology,a statistical analysis is conducted on the impact factor and other factors of Northwestern Geology from 2001 to 2012.The results indicated that impact factor of Northwestern Geology increased 0.274 from 2001 to 2012 in CJCR,increased 0.561 from 2003 to 2012 in WD,increased 0.763 from 2003 to 2012 in CNKI,and percentage of impact factor of Northwestern Geology increased 59.31% from 2001 to 2012 in CJCR,increased 170.00% from 2003 to 2012 in WD,increased 247.97% from 2003 to 2012 in CNKI.The average impact factor of Northwestern Geology Increased 0.533 from 2003 to 2012 in CJCR,WD,CNKI.The average percentage of impact factor of Northwestern Geology increased 159.09% from 2003 to 2012 in CJCR,WD, CNKI.Which confirms that the academic level of Northwestern Geology is increasing swiftly, and the journal is exhibiting greater social influence. Based on the statistics and analysis,reasonable suggestions are given by the author to improve the reputation and academic influence of Northwestern Geology.
