Metallogenic Characteristics and Prospecting Criteria of Lead-zinc Deposits in Qiao'er Tianshan-Chalukou Region of West Kunlun

    • Qiao'ertianshan-Chalukou lead-zinc mine is located in the binding site between Tianshuihai block and Shenxianwan Permian-Triassic rift basin in West Kunlun. This area has the largest lead anomaly belt and the second largest zinc and mercury anomaly belt in Xinjiang province. So far, 24 lead-zinc ore deposits have been discovered in this area, including one large deposit and two medium deposits. Based on the field geological investigation and previous exploration data on geological mineral and chemical exploration, this paper made full analysis of the characteristics of lead-zinc deposits in this area, preliminarily studied the genetic type, and systematically summarized the typical prospecting criteria, which would provide an important reference for the prospecting work in the future.
