Abstract
Regional geochemical research has important guiding significance for the prediction of regional geology and mineral resources. Taking the stream sediment survey data of Wengen area in Inner Mongolia as the research object, the authors integrated the laws of enrichment and symbiosis, assemblage anomalies and ore-induced anomaly interpretation with the structure, mineralization and regional geology of the area, and summarized the indicating function of the geochemical anomalies, so as to reveal the potential ore-forming elements and the characteristics of anomalies, and then provide basis for identifying the favorable mineralization areas in the study area. Research results show that Cu, Mo, Au have great metallogenic potentialin the area. Based on the interpretation and ranking results of the anomalies related to mineralization, three nonferrous metalsore prospecting targets were optimally delineated.
