Mineralized Fluids Characteristics of Cu-Au Ore District in Kenaite Mylonite Belt of Fuyun, Xinjiang

    • The study area is located in Keketale Pb-Zn metallogenic belt in southeast of Maizi basin, Xinjiang. Studies on aqueous fluid inclusions in the quartz veins related to Cu-Au mineralization demonstrate that the total homogenization temperatures are concentrated in the range of 160-200 ℃, while the salinity is 0.18%-8.41%, the fluid density is 0.79-1.04 g/cm3, and the fluid inclusions components are mainly H2O and CO2, with minor CH4. The fluids were derived from metamorphic fluids and mixed with a little meteoric water. The fluids of Cu-Au mineralization period were metamorphic fluids with medium-low temperatures, medium-low salinities, medium-low density and CO2 enrichment. The metallogenic fluids are different from the marine water fluids of VMS Pb-Zn mineralization period from the ocean-continental subduction back-arc basin, whose features are medium-low temperatures, low salinities, low density and hardly contain any CO2. It shows that this region did exist later-fperiod metallogenic events related to orogenic-metamorphic hydrothermal process, which has enlightening significance for prospecting evaluation in this area.
