Comparative Study on Geochemical Characteristics of the Kubusu and Jinshangou Gold Deposits

    • East Junggar of Xinjiang is one of the important gold metallogenic belts in our country and has superior metallogenic conditions. In this paper, the typical genetic types of gold deposits in thismetallogenic belt-Kubusu and Jinshangou gold deposits have been selected as research objects, the geochemical behaviors between these two deposits have been compared and analyzed by using geochemical methods, the mineralization geological conditions, mineralization tectonic environment and the source of ore-forming fluid of these deposits have been discussed. The results show that the volcanic rocks of the Kubusu gold deposit may be normal Pacific (calc-alkaline) type, while the ones of the Jinshangou gold deposit may be belong to orogenic continental volcanic rocks during orogenic period, and both of them belong to all crust-mantle lava. The ore-forming materials of veins and surrounding rocks are all have homologous or inheritance relations. The metallogenic environment of the Kubusu gold deposit is related to marine magmatic activities, while the Jinshangou gold deposit has a connection with continental volcanic eruption.
