Abstract
Situated the binding site between Southwest Tianshan and West Kunlun orogenic belts, the Kangxi lead-zinc deposit is located in the northwest edge of TarimBasin, which isa prospecting deposit in the Wulagen lead-zinc metallogenic belt of Southwest Tianshan in recent years. The lead-zincore-bodies were occurred in the glutenite of Lower Cretaceous Kzlesu Formation (K1kz), the colors of ore-bearing rocks generally are red and purple on the region, but ore-containing area changes into hoary and gray color, showing the "bleaching of sandstone" characteristics. The bleached sandstone is one of the symbols of a massive oil and gas from escaping. Organic carbon, total sulfur, Fe2+/Fe3+ organic geochemical tests show that the oil and gas serve as the reducing agents of oxidation reduction effect, and that the oil and gas activities were involved in the metallogenic process of Kangxilead-zinc deposit. In combination with regional geological evolution, it's believed that India-Asia plate collision led to Pamir frontal fracture in this area and the Southwest Tianshan orogenic belt and docking, the regional active faults caused basin ancient reservoir, the oil and gas in the process of migration promoted the activation, migration, precipitation and mineralization of lead and zinc element.
