  • The Qinba mountain area has rich mineral resources and beautiful natural environment,but the current economic development is relatively backward, which serves as the key area of national poverty alleviation. The local people have strong desires to develop the mineral resources for raising economic incomes,which causes the prominent contradiction between mining development and ecological environment. In this paper,the characteristics of regional structure and mineral resources distribution, current situation of mineral exploration and development and geological environment have been summarized.In order to achieve the coordinated development about resource development and environmental protection, the policy,technology,management suggestions about green development of mineral resources and environmental protection have been proposed.
