The Features Structural Superimposed Halos of the Lianzigou Gold Deposit in Xiaoqinling Area and its Deep Prediction

    • The Lianzigou gold deposit is located in Xiaoqinling area and hosted in the upper strata of Taihua group. The orebodies are controlled by fault fracture zone. Based on the theory of structure superimposed halos, the representative No.Ⅲ-1 orebody of this deposit has been selected to study its structure primary halos in this paper. The results have shown that the optimal indicator elements are Au, Ag, Mo, W, Pb, Sb, As, Ba, Cu and Co. The indicator elements for the head halo of orebody are Hg, As, Sb, Ba, the near halo elements are Ag, Au, Cu, Pb, Co, and the tailing halo elements are Mo, W, Bi, Mn. This axial zoning sequence and the geochemical parameters of structure superimposed halos show a "anti-zoning" sequence, which indicates the probability of better spread of the orebody and the existence of concealed orebody. According to the characteristics of primary halos, the model of structure superimposed halos and predicting indexes have been established, and then blind ore prospecting targets for the next working has been took out.
