  • By using the modeling test of 3D simulation, the response potential curves of TEM has been obtained for discovering mineral occurrence. Thus, the TEM method has been proved as an effective method for prospecting in this mining area.A set of TEM method parameters for Pb-Zn ore bodies are determined by comparing the test works between TEM central loops andsuperimposed loops in Duancenggou district of the Xitieshan mining area. The TEM response potential abnormal curve can reflect the abnormal feature of low resistance object effectively. The response amplitude has large ambient field and its anomaly area with stable attenuation, which has an effective ability to distinguish the mineralization anomalies at different depth.
