Geological Characteristics and Metallogenetic Regularity of the Zhaobishan Iron Deposit in Beishan Area, Weining, Ningxia

    • The iron deposits of Beishan area in Weining are mainly occurred in Devonian-Carboniferous clastic rocks, which are controlled by strata formation and tectonics.According to the characteristics of metallogenic geological background, mineral assemblage and wall rock alterations, these iron deposits in this area have been classified as the moderate-low temperature hydrothermal deposits.Due to its large reserves, numerous ore quantities, typical metallogenic background and ore genesis, the Zhaobishan iron deposit has a great significant to reveal the metallogenic geological characteristics, to carry out the comprehensive study, to establish the metallogenic models and to sum up the metallogenic regularities of the iron deposits in this area.
