Application of Static Correction CSAMT——Joint inversion method

    • In using the CSAMT method, when electrical property is laterally inhomogeneous beneath the surface, the apparent resistivity line shall have a parallel movement along the axis of apparent resistivity, which is called static shift. The static shift greatly affects the interpretation result of deep electrical property structure. In this situation,we should correctit. In this paper,we have introduced several methods of static correction and discussed their advantages and disadvantages. After comparison of various methods,we have chosen the TEM in time domain and CSAM T in frequency domain to perform the joint inversion and used the high precision calibration of TEM data to correct the CSAMT data affected by static effect. In prospecting a plumbum and zinc mine in Gansu,we applied the method of joint inversion to make static correction, and the result is in good agreement with the actual geological conditions.
