Abstract:
The study area is located in the sandstone-type copper deposit belt of Kuche foreland depression basin and in the same metallogenic belt with Dishui Copper Mine, having good prospecting potential for copper. The 1:50000 stream sediment survey shows that the background value of Cu elements in the area is much lower than that of Clarke. Whereas it has strong variation coefficient and high deviation in E
3s and N
1-2k, which indicates that copper is enriched in the above strata. From the multivariate statistical analysis, Cu is closely related to As, Sb, Co, Ni, Zn, Mo, Bi and Ca, indicating that the source of metallogenic element Cu is diverse. The widely developed gypsum salt layer in this area provides condition for the formation of high salinity ore-forming fluids and a sulfur source for the enrichment of copper elements. 8 comprehensive geochemical anomalies are delineated in the area combining the geological and geochemical anomalies. HS-4 and HS-6 comprehensive geochemical anomalies are verified specially, delineating 19 Cu ore bodies (mineralization).
