Abstract:
Through the experimental tests of gas total composition, helium content, and helium isotopes for 54 hot spring associated gas samples in Jiangxi Province, the distribution characteristics and genetic types of hot spring associated gas components and associated helium were analyzed. The results show:The gas components associated with hot springs in Jiangxi Province are mainly N
2 and CO
2, and generally contain helium, and the helium content is generally high in the south and low in the north; The average volume content of helium is 0.3%, and the highest content is 1.83%, which is 18 times of the industrial grade(0.1%), and has good resource potential; The area west of Suichuan-Chongyi-Dayu in the western part of southern Jiangxi and the Xunwu-Huichang-Ruijin area in the southeast are preliminarily delineated as the helium prospective area; According to the characteristics of helium isotopes, the helium resources are generally characterized by a combination of crustal origin and mantle origin.
