Abstract:
The Beijinqi volcanic rock basin is a continental volcanic rock basin formed under extensional tectonic action in Late Variscan, with well development of basin-cutting and ring faults. Uranium polymetallicminimalized zone is occurred in the periphery of the basin withring distribution.According to the ore-bearing construction, the uranium mineralization can be divided into two kinds, that is, the uranium-molybdenum mineralization existed in tuffaceous conglomerate zone in Upper Permian Kujiertai Formation and the uranium-copper developed in lava zone in Lower Permian Kalagang Formation. After analyzing typical ore occurrences in different layers, it's believed that the Beijinqi volcanic rock basin has a great ore-prospecting potential in uranium polymetallic deposits. Considered to the Kezilekuola uranium-molybdenum ore occurrence controlled by acidic tuffaceous conglomerate and specific tectonic setting, two ore-prospecting directions have been pointed out in this paper. Firstly, theore-bearing tuffaceous conglomerate zone consisting of acidic gravel should be defined. Then, the polymetallic mineralization should be found in the deep concealed acidic porphyry and its internal or external contact zone. The Aerpasale uranium-copper ore occurrence and its corresponding cryptoexpiosive breccia, alteration zonation all show that its depth has advantage to form sub-volcanian type or porphyry type polymetallic mineralization.
