Abstract:
The Xiarihamu super-large nickel deposit is located in the middle part of the western segment of the East Kunlun orogenic belt. Submassive-massive, sideronitic and disseminated sulfide ores are dominant in the orebody. The former type is formed by deep liquating injected magmaalong the early-formed weak tectonic zone or fracture penetration. The latter two types are formed by liquation and fractional crystallization of mantle-derived magma, which are occurred in peridotite and pyroxenite. It is an effective way for prospecting prospect to understand mineralization enrichment regularity according to the diagenesis mineralization and ore-controlling factors.
