Abstract:
Based on the detailed observation and description of the core and combined with the analysis of the outcrop profile and logging, the sedimentary structure and sedimentary sequence of the Tarim Basin in Silurian have been explored in this paper. The genetic types and identification marks of tidal flat facies have been revealed. Furthermore, the distribution range about the tidal flat facies of Silurian Gepingtage Formation in Tarim Basin has been analyzed, the development features of tidal flat in a transgressive regressive environment, and the spatiotemporal evolution law of tidal flat sedimentary has been further summarized. And then, the tidal flat depositional model of Silurian Gepingtage Formation in Tarim Basin has been clarified, which will contribute to understand the genetic types, temprospacial attributes and accurate forecasts of similar sedimentary types.
